Art4Life loves Richmond Elementary and would like to invite you to join us! Richmond Elementary is a diverse community of people working together to create child-centered experiences that promote self-confidence, respect, success and the joy of learning.

The Japanese Magnet Program (JMP) began in 1989 with two kindergarten classes at Richmond Elementary School. It is now a complete  language immersion program with students starting at Richmond in  kindergarten and staying through 5th grade. The classroom bridges the Pacific when, after 5th grade and during 8th grade, students may travel to Japan. For many, this is an experience of a lifetime.

Art4Life  complements Richmond with its arts and culture program adding the diverse projects and field trips to the children’s experiences. A sampling of our field trips include exposing the children to local artists, galleries, Artichoke Music, The Clinton Street Theater, Splendorporium and dining at local restaurants to sample food from different cultures.
